Foto Marlin is a people business that uses cameras and image-making to connect people. We created a new identity system that built on this concept of emotional connection: a curious world that saw Foto Marlin as the optic nerve: the link between what we see and what we feel.

From this evolved the happy line which couples the wordmark, and language that emphasises people rather than products. The purple gives an energetic pop while nodding to the legacy brand. The font gives suitable Swiss credibility, with just enough fun to stand out from the crowd, particularly the exaggerated diacritics (ü), which made it a good choice for a German-speaking audience.
